Tandis Moeini

Finance and operations are the foundations upon which a great organization is built upon; when nobody notices what’s going on behind the scenes, we know we’re doing it right. Tandis assists the finance and operations team to create the financial infrastructure for the funds and operating units, in areas pertaining to portfolio data monitoring, investment valuations, financial reporting/planning, tax, legal, regulatory compliance, and investor relations.

Prior to Forerunner, Tandis worked at both Sequoia Heritage, the institutional endowment fund of Sequoia Capital, as well as White Star Capital, an international early and growth-stage technology VC. In both roles, she worked as the right-hand person to the CFO. Tandis was responsible for the strategic development of the financial infrastructure, including financial due diligence, debt financing, fund administration, portfolio monitoring, legal structures and managing all external service providers.

Tandis graduated from Western University in Canada with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Organizational Studies, with a specialization in Accounting in Finance, and has earned a CA and CPA license.
