Jennifer Mariska

People tend to associate venture capital with pitch meetings on the Silicon Valley circuit, but it’s the financial thread that provides the structure that makes it all possible. After shifting from public to private equity, Jenn found her home in the finance world in venture capital when she joined the Forerunner team as Head of Operations and Finance in 2017.

Jenn works on projects focused on Forerunner’s strategy development, including the firm’s fundraising efforts and LP relationships. Taking the lead on both firm and fund operations, she manages all external service providers and oversees the lifecycle of a Forerunner fund, including fund administration, coordination with legal counsel and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to Forerunner, Jenn led U.S. Client Services at private markets manager Partners Group, working closely with various teams responsible for all aspects of fund operations. She began her career at wealth management firm Fisher Investments. Jenn graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Political Science.
