Jason Bornstein

Partner, Head of Research

Jason is a Partner and Head of Research at Forerunner. He leads Forerunner's research efforts to help drive thesis-building and investment strategies, born out of Forerunner's belief that consistent data-driven analysis is essential to illuminating cultural dynamics and evolutions within an increasingly complex set of consumers. In this role, Jason helps shapes Forerunner's market perspectives and how we guide our portfolio companies.

Prior to Forerunner, Jason was an early employee at Bonobos, one of Forerunner’s earliest investments, where he was a key member of the team that built one of the first digitally-native brands. Jason received an MBA from Stanford GSB in 2018 and graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Communication Studies in 2009.
